Charter Information for the Rotary Club of Aggieland
After two years of planning and organizing, and several months of organizational meetings of the NEW ROTARY CLUB OF BRAZOS COUNTY, with its sponsors, the Rotary Club of Bryan and the Rotary Club of College Station, the PROVISIONAL ROTARY CLUB OF BRAZOS COUNTY held its first meeting on September 15, 1995. On September 29, 1995, and Application for Membership in Rotary International was submitted with ten (10) officers and Board of Directors and thirty four (34) qualified charter members to be called the Rotary Club of Brazos County, (Bryan/College Station, TX). The ROTARY CLUB OF BRAZOS COUNTY was approved and chartered on December 13, 1995. The name was changed to The Rotary Club of Aggieland in 2003.
